Nature in Canadian String Quartets

Quatuor Molinari, one of Canada’s leading string quartets, performs Nachoff’s String Quartet No. 1 which features a strong sense of rhythmic vitality with subtle and tangential jazz influences permeating throughout the four-movement work.  Also on the program, are two string quartets by R. Murray Schafer (1933-2021) one of Canada’s prominent composers.
